DUFFY ATKINS is the new
primary evening meteorologist at CLTV/WGN in Chicago, Illinois. Atkins will
forecast the weather for both stations. Duffy comes from KREN in Reno, Neveda.
She also worked in Santa Barbara, California and Quincy, Illinois.
JODI KODESH moves to KNSD in San Diego, California. Kodesh is
free-lancing for the NBC station on various newscasts. Jodi, who recently
received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Geosciences, comes from KPSP in
Palm Springs, California.
PHIL ORBAN is the new weekend Sports Anchor at WRIC in Richmond,
Virginia. Orban will anchor weekends and report sports for the ABC affiliate.
Phil comes from KTVE/KARD in Monroe, Louisiana where he was Sports Director.
LANCE CRAWFORD moves to Mobile, Alabama where he becomes Sports
Director for WPMI. The Emmy Award-winning Crawford comes from Comcast
SportsNet in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
ANNIE McCORMICK is the newest member of the WHP newsroom. McCormick
will report and fill-in anchor for the CBS station in Harrisburg,
Pennsylvania. Annie worked at KRQE in Albuquerque, New Mexico and got her
start in tv news as an Assignment Editor for KYW in Philadelphia.
JENNIFER DOWLING goes to WILX in Lansing, Michigan. Dowling will
co-anchor the weekday morning news for the NBC affiliate. Jennifer comes from
KEVN in Rapid City, South Dakota where she was the weekend news anchor.
PAT SIMON moves to KSLA
in Shreveport, Louisiana. Simon will co-anchor the 5,6,and 10 weeknight
newscasts for the CBS affiliate. Pat comes from WLOS in Greenville/Spartanburg
where he was an anchor/reporter.
MICHELE McCORMACK moves to the weeknight co-anchor chair at WDJT in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. McCormack will co-anchor the 5 & 10 on the CBS station
and also the 9 on sister station WMLW. Michele worked her way up from
mornings,then weekends to the main slot.
ERIKA CERVANTES goes to KWQC in Davenport,Iowa/Rock Island/Moline,
Illinois. Cervantes will report and fill-in anchor for the NBC affiliate.
Erika comes from KGAN in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where she was a reporter and
fill-in anchor.
BOB TRIHY moves to Washington, North Carolina where he will forecast
for WITN. Trihy will do the noon casts on Wednesday thru Friday and the
Saturday and Sunday evening newscasts for the NBC station. Trihy previously
was Chief Met at WQOW in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
JIM SINKOVITZ returns to WGAL in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Jim
will report and fill-in anchor for the ABC affiliate. The award-winning
Sinkovitz previously worked for WPHL in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where
he was a weekend anchor/reporter. Before that, Jim worked 20 years in
Harrisburg/Lancaster between WGAL and WHP.
CHRIS REGNIER re-signs as reporter with KTVI in St. Louis,
Missouri. The award-winning Regnier has been with the Fox station since
2001.
DAVE COCHRAN resigns with KIII in Corpus Christi, Texas. Cochran
will continue to forecast the weekend evening newscasts for the ABC
station.
STELLA PAYNE moves to Philadelphia. Payne will be the Sussex
County reporter for Delaware Tonight on WHYY-TV. Stella comes from KTVT
in Dallas where she was a free-lance reporter. She is no stranger to
Pennsylvania as she previously worked at WHTM in Harrisburg.
HARRY BOUNDS is the newest member of the KARK weather department in
Little Rock, Arkansas. Bounds will forecast for the KARK 4 Today weekday
morning newscast at the NBC affiliate. Harry jumps 69 markets as he
comes from KNDU in Kennewick, Washington where he was the morning
meteorologist.
JEN BATES jumps 57 markets to KWCH in Wichita, Kansas. Bates is
the new Sports reporter/fill-in anchor for the CBS station. Jen also
comes from KNDU in Kennewick, Washington where she was the weekend
sports anchor.
GREG CHANDLER is the new weekend sports anchor at KQDS in Duluth,
Minnesota. Chandler will also report on sports during the week for the
Fox affiliate. Greg comes from Clarksburg, West Virginia where he was
the weekend sports anchor for WBOY.
BECKY FREEMAL is the new co-anchor for FOX 21/27 weeknight 10 pm
newscast in Roanoke, Virginia. She comes to WFXR/WWCW from WCPO in
Cincinnati, Ohio where she was a reporter/fill-in anchor.
AMY KUNS goes to KEPR to co-anchor the weeknight 5, 6 and 11
newscasts. Kuns comes to the CBS affiliate in Yakima, Washington from
KTTC and KXLT in Rochester, Minnesota where she anchored the 5pm
newscast on KTTC and the 9 pm for Fox 47.
JUSTIN COOPER moves to WSPA to forecast weekend mornings for the
CBS affiliate in Greenville/Spartanburg, South Carolina. Cooper comes
from Las Vegas, Nevada where he worked for KLAS.
JAY POLK is the newest member of the WALB weather department.
Polk will forecast on the weekend evening newscasts for the NBC station
in Albany, Georgia. Jay previously worked at WSAW in Wausau,
Wisconsin.
MOLLIE HALPERN is the new investigative reporter at WSLS in
Roanoke/Lynchburg, Virginia. Halpern will also be a fill-in anchor for
the NBC station. Mollie comes from WPXI in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
where she was a Host and an AP. The award-winning Halpern also worked at
WBRE/WYOU in Scranton, PA and NECN in Boston, Mass.
SINU ABRAHAM moves to WDBJ in Roanoke/Lynchburg, Virginia.
Abraham will report for the CBS affiliate. Sinu comes from WTOP Radio in
Washington, DC where she was a reporter and assistant editor. She also
previously worked as an Anchor/reporter at WHAG in Hagerstown, Maryland.
KRISTI PIEHL re-signs at KSTP in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Piehl
will take on the role of Investigative Reporter for the ABC station.
LISA MISHLER is the newest member of the WINK news team in Fort
Myers, Florida. Lisa will co-anchor the weeknight 11:00 newscast and
report for the CBS affiliate. The award-winning Mishler comes from
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she reported for KYW and anchored for
WCAU. She also worked in Boston, Orlando and Lancaster.
MARC DOPHER moves to WYFF in Greenville, South Carolina. Marc
will be a sports reporter/anchor for the NBC station. Dopher previously
worked at KRGV in Weslaco, Texas where he was a sports anchor/reporter.
BRIAN NEUDORFF joins the weather team at WROC in Rochester, New
York. Brian will forecast for the weekday morning and noon shows at the
CBS affiliate. Neudorff comes from WJET/WFXP in Erie, Pennsylvania,
where he was weekend meterorologist.
SHERRIE EVANS moves to Tri-Cities, Tennessee. Sherrie anchors the
AM newscasts of Tri- Cities This Weekend on WCYB-NBC and the weekend
evening newscasts on MyFox WENT. Evans comes from WPDE in Myrtle Beach,
South Carolina where she was a reporter/fill-in anchor.
CARA (CORRENTI) MOORE moves to WHTM in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Cara
will report for the ABC station. Correnti comes from KVII in Amarillo, Texas
where she anchored the weeknight 6 & 10 newscasts.
ROD COWAN jumps 140 markets to join the weather department at WHP in
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Rod will forecast weekends for the CBS station.
Cowan comes from WCAV in Charlottesville, Virginia where he was the Chief Met.
BILL TOTH has been promoted to the weekend sports anchor at WPMT in the
Harrisburg, Lancaster, York Pennsylvania market. After only 3 months, Bill
makes the move from #3 to weekend anchor for the Fox station.
JILLIAN MELE moves up 152 markets to WCAU NBC 10 in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania as a free-lance reporter. Jillian comes from WIVT/WBGH in
Binghamton, New York where she was co-anchor/reporter.
HUTCH JOHNSON is the new Chief Meteorologist at KVLY/KXJB in
Fargo, North Dakota. Johnson will forecast for the 5,6, and 10 newscasts
for the NBC/CBS affiliate. Hutch arrives from KXMB in Bismarck, ND where
he was chief
FAYE HOFFMAN is the new anchor at WGGB in Springfield,
Massachusets. Faye will anchor the morning and noon casts at the ABC
station. Hoffman comes from KNDO in Yakima, Washington where she was the
5 and 6 co-anchor.
EBONE MONET moves to KTHV in Little Rock, Arkansas. Ebone will
report for the CBS station. Monet previously worked at KDLT in Sioux
Falls, South Dakota where she was a reporter and the morning weather.
GABE CAGGIANO is the newest reporter in the KZTV newsroom. Gabe
will report for the CBS affiliate in Corpus Christi, Texas. Caggaino was
a free-lance reporter/producer for Inside Edition.
JACKIE BLAIS starts her reporting career at Blue Ridge 11 News.
Jackie will report and fill-in anchor for the station in Ephrata,
Pennsylvania. Blais was a production assistant for the Martha show and
The View.
KIM BARTLETT moves to KBCI in Boise, Idaho. Bartlett will
co-anchor the weekday morning show and anchor the noon newscast for the
CBS station. Kim comes from KMVT in Twin Falls, Idaho where she was an
anchor/reporter.
RICK ADAMS goes to KREX in Grand Junction, Colorado. Adams will
co-anchor the weekday 5 & 10 newscasts for the CBS affiliate. Rick comes
from KTWO in Casper, Wyoming where he was an anchor/reporter.
HARLOW SUMERFORD moves to
WATE in Knoxville, Tennessee. Harlow will be a General Assignment Reporter for
the ABC affiliate. Sumerford comes from WCYB in the Tri-Cities where he was
weekend anchor and reporter.
WILLIAM TOTH is the newest member of the WPMT sports department in
Harrisburg/Lancaster Pennsylvania. Bill will report and anchor sports for the
Fox Station. Toth comes from WJET in Erie, Pennsylvania where he was the
weekend sports anchor. He also was a finalist on ESPN Dream Job in 2004.
TIFFANI SARGENT has been
named Anchor for the Friday and Saturday evening editions at KTNV in Las
Vegas, Nevada. Sargent will report and do fill in anchor work for other
Channel 13 newscasts for the ABC affiliate.
MICHELE McCORMACK has been promoted to anchor the weekend evening
newscasts at WDJT, the CBS station in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. McCormack had been
co-anchoring on the morning newscasts. Michele previously worked at WPVI in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
DUFFY ATKINS has been hired as the Chief Meteorologist at KREN in Reno,
Nevada. Atkins will do weather for the 10 o'clock CW weeknight newscast.
Atkins previously worked for KEYT in Santa Barbara, California and KHQA in
Quincy, Illinois.
AZIZ MOOSHOOLOV (Jack Madison) is the new anchor at KEZI. Aziz will
co-anchor the 6:30 and 11:00 newscasts for the ABC affiliate in
Eugene/Springfield, Oregon. Mooshoolov comes from WWAY in Wilmington, North
Carolina where he was the weekend anchor.
CANDACE COOK is the new traffic reporter for WCAU in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Candace will be the Shore Traffic Reporter
for NBC 10 and traffic.com. Cook comes from WRBL in Columbus, Georgia
where she was an anchor/reporter.
JONELLE MERRILL moves to KTVB in Boise, Idaho. Jonelle will solo
anchor the 5 evening weekend newscasts for the NBC affiliate. Merrill
worked at WDHN in Dothan, Alabama, where she was the weeknight co
anchor.
RENEE SEXTON is the new co-anchor for the new 4PM newscast at
KIMT in Mason City, Iowa. Renee will also report for the CBS station.
Sexton comes from WKRC in Cincinnati, Ohio where she was a news
producer.
JOE KAYATA has been named the new weekend sports anchor at WJAR,
the NBC station in Providence, Rhode Island, Before working at NBC 10,
Joe worked as a reporter at WTVJ.
MICK MONINGHOFF goes to WQAD in Moline, Illinois as Sports
Director. The award-winning Moninghoff will anchor weeknight sports for
the ABC affiliate. Mick comes from The Comcast Network in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania where he was an anchor/reporter and did play-by-play for
all sports.
JOHN FRANCHI goes home to California. John will be the weekend
sports anchor at KBAK, the CBS station in Bakersfield. Franchi
previously worked at KSNF in Joplin, Missouri.
GREG JESCHKE (CARSON) re=signs as the main anchor at WKOW in
Madison, Wisconsin. Previously, Greg worked at KRON in San Francisco and
KRNV in Reno, Nevada.
MELISSA MAIKOS moves on to WTOC in Savannah,
Georgia. Maikos will anchor weekend sports and report on sports during
the week for the CBS station. Melissa comes from WCTV in Tallahassee,
Florida where she was the weekend Sports Anchor.
MICHAEL ROGERS is the new morning meteorologist
at WMDT. Rogers will do weekday mornings for the ABC affiliate in
Salisbury, Maryland. Michael comes from KMVT in Twin Falls, Idaho.
STEVE SCHILL is the newest member of the KMIR
weather department. Schill will do fill-in work for the NBC station in
Palm Springs, California. Steve, who has been running a successful
realty business, has worked at WFLD in Chicago, KNTV in San Jose and
KGUN in Tucson, Arizona.
NICK LaFAVE will co-anchor the new weekday 9pm
newscast on KQDS Fox 21 in Duluth, Minnesota starting on March 12. The
award-winning LaFave comes from WILX/WSYM in Lansing. Michigan where he
was an anchor/reporter.
LIZ BURKE is the new
traffic anchor on WCBS-TV in New York. Liz appears daily in the AM for the CBS
station in New York City. The award-winning Burke previously worked for News
12 Long Island and News 12 Westchester.
SULEIKA ACOSTA moves up
to KOLD in Tucson, Arizona. Suleika will report for the CBS station in the
70th market. Acosta comes from KCBD in Lubbock, Texas where she was a
reporter/anchor.
DAVID FRASER is the
newest member of the KRIS weather department. David will be the weekend
meteorologist for the NBC affiliate in Corpus Christi, Texas. Fraser
previously worked for WPBN in Traverse City, Michigan and KPAX in Missoula,
Montana.
MIKE GRIFFIN moves to
KCEN in Waco, Texas. Mike will be the weekend meteorologist for the NBC
station. Griffin comes from KPLC in Lake Charles/Lafayette, Louisiana where he
was the morning and midday meteorologist.
JANET ZAPPALA is the
consumer reporter for the new CN8 newsmagazine show, Arthur Fennel
Reports. The three-time Emmy award winning journalist will be seen
daily as the consumer watchdog on the new 10 p.m. show. CN8 is now seen
in over 20 states up and down the east coast. Zappala, who has garnered
8 Emmy nominations, including Best Anchor in Philadelphia at WCAU NBC 10
in 2003, was last seen on WTXF Fox 29 Good Day Philadelphia as an
anchor/reporter. Janet also worked at stations in Los Angeles, Denver
and San Diego.
AARON BRILBECK is the
newest member of the WNWO newsroom in Toledo, Ohio. Aaron will report
for the NBC affiliate. The award-winning Brilbeck comes from WGY Radio in
Albany, New York. He also worked for WXXA in Albany.
PAT SIMON moves to WLOS in Greenville/Spartanburg/Asheville. Pat
will co-anchor the 5:30 p.m. newscast on WLOS (ABC) and solo anchor the new 6:30 p.m. newscast on
WMYA. Simon comes from
WAFB in Baton Rouge, LA where he was morning and noon anchor.
ANNETTE NEWELL is the new anchor at WNCT in Greenville/New
Bern/Washington, North Carolina. Newellwill co-anchor the 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts for the CBS affiliate.
Annette previously anchored at News 14
Carolina, Central Florida News 13 and KTVA in Anchorage,Alaska.
KYLA CULLINANE moves to KAMR; the NBC station in Amarillo, Texas.
Kyla will anchor the 9 p.m.
newscast on KCIT (FOX) and report for KAMR. Cullinane worked for NECN
and WSJV.
RICK ADAMS goes to KTWO-TV, Wyoming's #1 rated news station. Rick
will co-anchor the 5,6 and 10 p.m.newscasts for the ABC affiliate. Adams previously worked as an anchor,
reporter and talk show host for
Patriot 8 Television in New Jersey, as well as a news anchor for WRNJ
radio.
MELISSA MEDALIE moves to WHP in
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Melissa will be a general assignment
reporter
for the CBS affiliate. Medalie comes from WTVH in Syracuse, New York.
CLEMENT TOWNSEND jumps 135 markets to WPMI in Mobile/Pensacola
from KLST in San Angelo, Texas.
Clement will be a sports reporter/anchor
for the NBC station.
MICK SHAFFER re-signs at Metro Sports in Kansas City. The
award-winning Shaffer will continue to
anchor for the 24-hour all-sports
station as well as hosting the post-game shows for the KC Chiefs and KC
Royals.
SUSAN STEWART re-signs at WPVI in Philadelphia. Stewart will
continue to produce newscasts for the ABC affiliate at the number one
station in the number 4 market.
AUBREY MIKA moves up to
San
Antonio. Aubrey will be a General Assignment Reporter for WOAI, the
NBC affiliate in San Antonio, Texas. Previously, Mika worked at WICD in
Champaign,
Illinois and KCEN in
Waco, Texas.
JOE ARENA is the newest member of the KTAL newsroom. Joe will
report and fill-in anchor for the NBC
affiliate in Shreveport, Louisiana. Arena previously worked at WJLA,
Capital News 9 and WVVA in West
Virginia.
KRIS RADCLIFFE has been named Sports Director at KCEN in Waco,
Texas. Kris has been the weekend
Sports Anchor at the NBC affiliate. Radcliffe
also worked at KNOP in North Platte, Nebraska and Torrance
City T.V.
JAIME RAAB McCUTCHEON moves on to WOWT in Omaha, Nebraska. Jaime will
co-anchor the weekend
evening news for the top-rated NBC affiliate. McCutcheon
comes from WMAZ in Macon, Georgia where
she was an anchor/reporter/producer.
She also worked at KDLT in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
KRISTI PIEHL is the newest reporter at KSTP in Minneapolis,
Minnesota. Kristi will be a general assignment reporter for the ABC affiliate.
The award-winning Piehl previously worked at WDTN in Dayton, Ohio and KELO in
Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
STACEY SKRYSAK moves on to WPBN in Traverse City, Michigan. Stacey
will co-anchor the AM show for the NBC affiliate. Skrysak previously worked
for KHGI in Kearney, Nebraska and KDUH in Scottsbluff.
ERIC ZAGER has moved to WTIC in Hartford, Connecticut. Eric will be
the investigative reporter for the Fox affiliate. The award-winning Zager
comes from WHAS in Louisville, Kentucky where he was a reporter.
DAVID BEGNAUD moves to KSLA in Shreveport, Louisiana. David will be
the nightside reporter for the CBS affiliate. Begnaud previously worked as an
anchor/reporter at KLFY in Lafayette, Louisiana and was the spokesperson for
the American Red Cross in Los Angeles.
GIL DAVID is the newest member at KESQ, the ABC station in Palm
Springs, California. Gil will report for the ABC station. He comes from KDLH
in Duluth, Minnesota where he was a reporter/anchor.
KIRSTEN OLESEN goes to WINK in Ft. Myers, Florida. Kirsten will anchor
and report sports for the CBS affilate. The award-winning Olesen comes from
WTVM in Columbus, Georgia.
DAVE COONEY moves to KLBC, the UPN Station in Laughlin, Nevada where he
will do news and sports. Dave was a sports intern at WBNS in Columbus, Ohio.
