Objective

To obtain a full time on-air position forecasting weather and producing news packages to utilize both my meteorology and journalism education and experience.

WFMJ-21 Youngstown, OH, Weekend Meteorologist
2006-Present

 Produce and present forecasts for weekend evening shifts
 Fill-in work during the morning and noon shows
 Create graphics using Weather Central ESP and 3D LIVE
 Able to adjust delivery style and length for different show formats
 Develop and execute weather and news stories

TV2, Weather Director & Reporter
2004-2006

 Taught weather anchors how to properly deliver weather on-air, update and formulate
   computer graphics, and use appropriate weather terminology
 Gained valuable hands-on experience presenting forecasts on a local access cable
   channel
 Created news packages and engaged in field reporting

 Learned how to build & present weather forecasts
 Worked with the WSI computer system effectively
 Assisted field reporters covering various stories

KSU National Forecasting Team 2004-2006
Used tools and resources to forecast for different cities around the nation
