SPORTS DIRECTOR, KAGS-TV, COLLEGE STATION, TX
October 2016-Present: Coordinate all coverage and events concerning the sports department, while anchoring 5 days per week. Lead host and producer for weekly 30-minute sports variety show, “Aggie Sports Overtime.” Covered Super Bowl LI in Houston, where the Patriots defeated the Falcons. Covered Texas A&M women’s basketball in Los Angeles in the NCAA Tournament. Covered Texas A&M football in the Advocare Texas Bowl. Oversee coverage of all Texas A&M athletics, Sam Houston State, Blinn College and over 40 high schools. Write and conduct live shots. Produce feature stories on A&M athletes, high school athletes and Olympians.
 
SPORTS ANCHOR/REPORTER, KAGS-TV, COLLEGE STATION, TX
August 2015-October 2016: Sports anchor and reporter, anchoring the 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts 2-3 times per week. Host, write, edit, shoot and produce weekly 30-minute sports variety show, “Aggie Sports Overtime,” sometimes solo. Cover Texas A&M athletics, including the football team, men’s and women’s basketball teams and the baseball team. Traveled to NCAA basketball Tournament in Oklahoma City to cover Aggie men’s basketball team. Report on local high school teams, including in Texas UIL state championships. Write and conduct live shots. Produce feature stories on A&M athletes, high school athletes and Olympians.
 
SPORTS ANCHOR/REPORTER, KSWO-TV, LAWTON, OK
August 2013-June 2015: Weekend sports anchor, anchoring the 6 pm and 10 pm newscasts each Saturday and Sunday night. Weekday sports reporter, producing highlights, VOs, and packages. Fill-in weekday anchor when necessary. Wrote and carried out live shots. Front VOs and packages, both in-studio and in the field. Reported on the Oklahoma City Thunder, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State athletics.
 
SPORTS REPORTER, KMTR NEWSSOURCE16, EUGENE, OR
February 2013-June 2013: Part-time sports reporter for Eugene’s NBC affiliate. The station came under new ownership and my position was eliminated. Fronted stories and produced weekly package Prep Athlete of the Week, shooting, editing, and writing the story solo. Practice anchored. Filmed a variety of sports, including Oregon and Oregon State basketball, football, baseball, and track. Edited highlights, SOTs, VOs and wrote anchor scripts. Learned to work on a strict deadline and under pressure.
